Moviepilot is an online platform whose core feature is to provide its users with personally calculated movie recommendations, based on their ratings of other films.

I was initially contracted by the Berlin-based web startup about one year ago and today, the project still is a work in progress. In the earlier stages, the main focus lay on implementing a new, clean and well-structured (layout-grid included) front-end code to base the site’s rework on.
Since then, my area of responsibility has shifted to incrementally developing new and redesigning old features in a strictly iterative design process — always proceeding from wireframes to prototypes, to user testing and refining.
